In addition to great books...
Downstate Publications can provide:
A Keynote Speaker
Taylor Pensoneau, an author, former reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and past president of the Illinois Coal Association, has appeared throughout Illinois as a keynote speaker. No group is too large or small for Pensoneau, who gears his presentation to the size and composition of the audience. He is also a popular guest on talk radio programs and has appeared in documentaries. Frequently he can be seen on local affiliates of national television networks that seek his insight and reflections on the political history of Illinois.
Topics: / Gangster legend and lore / Political history / Writing and publishing / Keynote speeches, interviews and talk shows / Coal mining.
Fee Range: From $100 to $1,000
Please call or fax (217) 488-7709 or email Pensoneau at email@example.com with details regarding your meeting.
The fee will be based upon the location and size of the organization making the request. Please note: mileage will be factored into the basic fee.
Pensoneau travels from New Berlin, Illinois, in Sangamon County. New Berlin is located 15 miles west of Springfield on I-72. Should overnight accommodations be involved, the group or organization will be asked to provide lodging at its expense.
Pensoneau is available to provide manuscript consultation and review; however, Downstate Publications does not publish manuscripts other than those by Pensoneau himself.
Fees are based on the scope of the project, and charges can range from an hourly rate to a single fee for a project, depending upon the work involved. Please call (217) 488-7709 with details about your manuscript.
Editing of Completed Manuscripts, Articles or Short Stories
